How We Build BeeQuill
Local-First is Non-Negotiable
Every single-player workflow runs offline. Transcripts and notes reside in a SQLite database (noteforge.db) directly on your SSD.
No Bots in Human Conversations
We believe meeting bots are invasive. BeeQuill uses audio loopback (WASAPI and CoreAudio) to capture call audio from your hardware layer with zero bot intrusion.
Zero Data Lock-in
You can export your complete workspace in open JSON or Markdown format at any time. If you downgrade from Pro, you keep 100% of your notes and offline AI models forever.
