BeeQuill Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using BeeQuill (via beequill.com, desktop binaries, or related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the software.
2. Software License & Open Source
The core BeeQuill client software is distributed under the MIT Open Source License. You are free to inspect the source code, run the software locally, and audit its security. Certain cloud-assisted features (such as hosted multi-LLM routing, managed cloud sync, and team workspaces) require an active BeeQuill Pro or Team subscription.
3. Subscriptions & Billing (Stripe)
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual recurring cycle through Stripe.
- Pro Tier: $12/month (or $99/year billed annually). Includes commercial LLM endpoints, workspace LangGraph reasoning, and cloud sync.
- Team Tier: $22/user/month (or $180/user/year billed annually). Includes shared team hives and centralized admin billing.
- Enterprise Tier: Custom annual contracts with air-gapped on-prem deployments and dedicated SLA.
4. Non-Disruptive Cancellation & Zero Data Loss Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your in-app billing panel or Stripe customer portal.
When you cancel your subscription, you retain full access to all Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Upon expiration, your account will gracefully downgrade to the Community (Free) Tier. None of your meetings, transcripts, notes, templates, or local databases will ever be locked, held hostage, or deleted. Local Ollama processing and SQLite storage remain 100% free and functional forever.
5. User Responsibilities & Audio Recording Laws
BeeQuill captures system audio loopback and microphone inputs. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for complying with applicable local, state, and national wiretapping and recording consent laws (including one-party or all-party consent requirements) before recording any conversations.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
BeeQuill is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.
